Failure Can Never Be in Your Forecast

If you’ve been remotely tuned into any weather forecast over the last few years, you can attest to the fact that, even the meteorologist lack accuracy in predicting the weather. When they say it will rain, the sun comes out. When they forecast sunshine, some of the worst storms come through, flooding our neighborhoods and highways. And usually, we end up unprepared, staring up at the sky, asking, “Was it supposed to rain today?” And so it is in our daily walk with God.

Because it is the enemy’s goal to catch us off guard and knock us off balance every minute of our lives, we can find ourselves expecting one thing but often times receiving another. Either way, we must keep our eyes on the Father. No matter how it looks or feels, He is in control of everything in our lives. The next time the rains of this life poor down on you - the very day you forgot your spiritual umbrella – trust that failure can never be in your forecast, for the Father is upholding and protecting you always!

Isaiah 41:10 Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God.
